Enjamio
Carmen Enjamio Bárcena is a professional cellist with a notable career in orchestras such as the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra (OSCyL) and collaborations with L’Auditori de Barcelona. She has been selected for prestigious substitute player pools such as those of the Spanish National Orchestra (OCNE) and the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. Her versatility has led her to take part in recordings and artistic projects such as La Sirena y los Amigos del Mar alongside Anna Martínez Norberto, earning recognition for the expressiveness of her playing.
Intermediate cello diploma from the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Gijón. Advanced and postgraduate performance studies at ESMUC with Cristoforo Pestalozzi and Jose Mor, specialising in classical and contemporary music. Official master’s and postgraduate degree in cello performance at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu with Lluís Claret.
Current member of the OBC since the 2015 season. Member of the Oviedo Filarmonía Orchestra – OFIL, in the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons. Of the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra – OSCyL – 2017-2018 season. Of the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias – OSPA, in the 2009-2010 season.
Collaborations in modern/pop music with Els Trau, Jimmy Malla and Rojas, among others.
International masterclasses with Lluís Claret, Wenn Sinn Yang, Troëls Svane, Pablo de Naverán, Wolfgang Boettcher, Ángel Luis Quintana, Helena Poggio, Gustav Rivinius, Iagoba Fanlo, Aldo Mata, Quartet Casals, Kennedy Moretti, Charlestunnell, Mikjail Milman and Arnau Tomàs.
