Puertas
Glòria Puertas is a teacher, workshop leader and actress born into a family of artists. Passionate about creativity in all its forms, she has trained in music, contemporary dance, circus arts and sign language. She has performed on stage since childhood and has experience coordinating family spaces such as SIS Sitges. She currently coordinates the «Cinema en curs» project with the A Bao A Qu team.
Studies in theatre and film at the Escola Riera de Sant Pere de Ribes.
Dance studies —contemporary, tap, flamenco, hip hop, funk— at body-training schools: El Local, El Retiro de Sitges, Fes Plus Chapeau, Esplai Blau de Ribes, Estudi de Dansa Rosa de Mari González and Garme Gatell (Vilanova i la Geltrú).
RED course in physical expression and drawing with the company Segni Mossi.
Musical studies in cello, singing and guitar at the Ger.
Graduate in Education (Pedagogy) from the University of Barcelona.
Teacher of after-school support classes for teenagers at the Centre d’Estudis Armonia.
Music classes for children and adults.
Facilitator of teenage groups at youth centres and leisure clubs (casals i esplais) in the province of Barcelona.
As an actress, collaborations in musical shows at schools, libraries and cultural centres throughout Catalonia: Auditori Pau Casals (El Vendrell), Auditori de Vilafranca del Penedès, Sabadell Amphitheatre, Museu de la Música de Barcelona. Collaborations as a sign-language presenter with the Orquestra de Cambra de Granollers and as an actress with the Orquestra Nacional d’Andorra.
