Irune Eguía is a versatile percussionist also trained in bagpipes, singing and guitar. Specialising in Afro-American rhythms and timbale technique, she has taken part in major events such as Sitges Pride and Barcelona’s Festes de la Mercè alongside Santi Arisa. Her talent has been recognised in percussion competitions such as the BREAK Competition in Lleida and the Kabronada Musikal.

In the field of percussion, workshops in Afro-American rhythms, congas and cajón with Daniel Del Olmo.
Workshops in physical expression and timbale technique with Brincadeira.
Notable appearances on timbales and snare drum since 2013:
PRIDE SITGES, Sitges Carnival, collaboration with Santi Arisa at the Festes de la Mercè, Got Talent, a festival for SKITTLES, La Marató de TV3 and Cors de la Barceloneta.
3rd prize at the BREAK percussion competition in Lleida.
2nd prize at the 3rd edition of the LLAVATRAKA Competition.
2nd prize at the 8th KABRONADA MUSIKAL.
