Moreno

Isabel Moreno is a Spanish flautist with a well-established career as a soloist and teacher. A graduate of the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia, she has served as principal flute of the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès since 1995 and as a teacher at the Conservatori de Vic. Specialising in music pedagogy (Dalcroze, Gordon), she is actively involved in educational and multidisciplinary projects, including collaborations with the Palau de la Música Catalana.
Graduate teacher of transverse flute from the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia.
In addition to specific flute training through masterclasses, she has also broadened her education, specialising in music and movement and in bodily expressiveness.
The methodologies in which she has trained include Dalcroze, E. Gordon’s Music Learning Theory and Música per Créixer amb Nadons.
She combines her musical vocation and experience across different professional fields:
- Principal flute of the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès.
- Flute teacher at the Conservatori Professional de Vic.
- Participation in educational projects of the Palau de la Música Catalana such as Flamenkat and Simfònic Ara.
- Creation of and participation in musical workshops for schools and summer camps through the OSV.
