Solidarity and social transformation through music
AMAISING was founded as an association in 2026, though its roots go back to 2019 and even further.
Its aims are to promote SOLIDARITY and SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION through music and culture, to raise public awareness of various social, environmental and humanitarian causes, and to foster the exchange of knowledge among socially engaged artists.
To achieve these aims, the association carries out the following activities: organising charity concerts and galas as a fundraising tool for NGOs, associations, foundations and other social or civic projects, and live music and other performing arts in collaboration with public or private entities.

About the Project
History
As co-founder of Musicart Sarrià (1995) and of the Estudi de Cant AMN (2020), as a teacher and artist, I have always firmly believed in and worked for SOCIAL and COMMUNITY ACTION through music, via different channels:
- teaching
- public concerts in cultural venues, civic festivals, local festivities, etc.
- collaboration with NGOs and care and support organisations in action: charity concerts, companionship and support concerts for the elderly
We have been able to sustain the Companionship for the Elderly programme thanks to the steady commitment of a group of volunteer students (teenagers, young people and adults), regularly offering quality concerts in some care homes and residences for the elderly in Barcelona.
The goal has been to bring, through music, HAPPINESS to all these people in need of joy, entertainment and affection.
Along this beautiful path we have met associations such as CORAVIS, with whom we have shared weekly concerts in care homes and annual charity galas.
In recent years we have not only collaborated in the elderly care sector: we have also done so in other humanitarian fields, such as CALIU, which provides food and medical support to homeless people —more than 250 families, 365 days a year—.
Over time this «companionship» has become a project of vital importance in my life and in the life of my students and former students. That is why we organised ourselves into an association, AMAISING, which actively collaborates with organisations that uphold the social, environmental and humanitarian transformative spirit through ART and CULTURE.
