Lyric singing, with the form of ancient poetry, was born destined to express feelings, affections, and emotions.
The sung voice, from traditional lyric to cultured lyric, passes through the centuries with the accompaniment of the lyre (hence the name) to orchestral accompaniment.
Styles, themes, and forms will evolve always linked to the historical moment lived by each country, people, and society. From war, religious, moral, and political themes to love and passion, life and death.
In this Lyric Singing Concert, we offer you a bit of narrated history and very special pieces that show stories and feelings, an intimate and chosen journey of ancient arias, opera arias, zarzuela romances.
It is in a Soprano – Tenor Duet format with piano accompaniment.
