Spanish Poetic Anthology
Literary musical project
It is a representative selection of Spanish Poetry, from the Middle Ages to the present: J. Ruíz, Archpriest of Hita, Francisco de Quevedo, José de Espronceda, Rosalía de Castro, Joan Maragall, Antonio Machado, J. Ramón Jiménez, F. García Lorca, Rafael Alberti, Blas de Otero… transforming the poems into songs, for voice, guitar, cello, and percussion.
In them, different styles gather, such as traditional folklore, pop, flamenco… which, fused with classical influences, turn them into tracks with a sound and character close to any type of audience.
The Concert is accompanied by paintings by relevant authors of our country, projected as metaphorical or literal representations of each poem.
In this dialogue between the Arts lies the singularity of this Multidisciplinary Performance: music – poetry – painting.
